How, What & Where You Can Donate

As part of our website resources, we wanted to be able to direct people to where in their local area they could go, with their no longer needed clothes or any household goods for donation.

We wanted to be confident that any of the places we were recommending people take their donations to were reliable and that the goods were being used wisely. Did you know some bin drops end up damaging clothes or get torn up and turned into rags? We wanted to ensure your donations go to the right places so those in need actually receive them.

Rest assured we researched many organisations and talked to lots of people to get a list of the best recommendations for places that need or would appreciate donations and anything else helpful that you are willing to donate. Hopeful there is a recommendation in your local area that is convenient for you when you have a donation to deliver or get picked up.

Your donations are incredibly important! You give the right help, at the right time, to people who really need it.
Support organisations registered with GIVIT use your donations to fill real, and often urgent, needs in their communities.

All the requests listed are from organisations vetted by GIVIT as genuinely working with people in need.

Donating exactly what’s needed is a smart way to give. It’ll make you feel great, and you might just change a life.
